Like many authors, before my story became fully fledged, I spent countless hours working on the manuscript. There were days, even months, I spent fighting writer's block, but I was determined and tenacious to get this story written, creating a vast and complex universe. At first, I struggled wit the MC(protagonist) of the story, having a character that defined the human condition and I was reminded of the trials that I faced, feeling empty, lost and alone and how I came back to the Lord.
It was in that moment of reflection, that I was able to come up with the template for my protagonist. And even though I have read countless titles from various and renown authors like J. R. R. Tolkien, C. S. Lewis, Frank Herbert, John Grisham and many more, I was inspired by their feats and accomplishments. I wanted to go beyond what they had done, I wanted to incorporate more than just a story, but I endeavored to use the gifts to show the reader what those ships looked like. My desire was to give more to the reader and have the potential of being more than just a novel, but also a feature film, video game or even merchandised into models and more. That has been my dream as an author for many years and even though I am working a full-time job, those dreams are still very much alive as they were when I started writing.
